The Vagina Monologues is an award
winning play written by Eve Ensler. The play’s recurring themes of empowerment
and individuality pushed it to become the foundation for VDAY, a nonprofit
organization that uses the proceeds from each performance of the play, around
the world, to support initiatives that promote ending violence against women.
Proceeds from the Shippensburg performance will also benefit YWCA’s Sexual Assault/Rape Crisis resources.
