A Fulbrighter’s Educational Adventures in Germany
Join Ms. Mary Burnett on an International Travel
Series photo journey
Ms. Mary Burnett visited Germany in 2018 as a recipient of a
Fulbright International Education Administrators seminar award. Fifteen American
seminar participants joined German colleagues for two weeks to learn about the German
educational system, culture, politics, history and food. The group visited
three types of universities to study how they support diverse populations of students
born in Germany and around the world. Mary’s talk will take the audience
on a photo tour of Germany and compare its educational systems and student
perspectives to those of the U.S.
Ms. Burnett is Shippensburg’s study abroad expert. As Director of
International Programs, she has advised hundreds of students who have studied
abroad for a full semester in many different countries since 2004. She is
a Shippensburg University alum with a degree in Business Administration. After
graduating in 2002, she studied abroad at the University of Stirling in the
United Kingdom where she received a master’s degree in Marketing.
Sponsored by the
Campus Fulbright Committee and International Studies major and minor. For
